What's the eccentric bottom bracket like?

Anyone got a frame only weight?

Its with the idea of running a rohloff and 100mm fork.

dunno, but I got a SH life (the 853 version) with a one of those new-fangled tensioner thingies that can move the chain between different sprockets to give a variety of gears 🙂

Awesome frame

soloists were on ebay for £200 not so long ago.

There'a thread on the frame - search for "eccentric". I know this as I was considering a Soloist a week or so ago - in the end I opted for the Hummingbird which I'm building up with an Alfine (arrived today from an STWer) and Magura Durin Marathon 120mm forks.

The Soloist's EBB sounds novel and the few comments I read on it were positive.

I have one, not ridden it yet though, seems like a good system to me, we will see how secure it is after its first ride though, i havent read any negatives anywhere.

By the way its a nice looking bit of kit !!

Been running one since November with no problems at all (unless I forget to do up the EBB lockrings).

You do need the lockring tool (provided) and a pin spanner such as the Park SPA-2 (not provided) to adjust the EBB. But it stays put once tightened and I've had no issues with maintenance.

No idea what the frame weighs though.

I tend to do them up alternately a little at a time - if there's a recommended method then I'm not aware of it.
