Mate of mine has kindly offered to lend me some 661 Knee / Shin and Elbow Forearm pads for my Summer in Whistler .I don't think thats the done thing and i should really bite the bullet for the long term and buy some of my own .
Looking at whats on offer MXEs are about £23 , Race Lite a bit more but the ones he has lent me look about £50 .So for non d/h duties will the cheaper versions suffice ?I noticed that the cheaper ones only strap on which may make them move about while riding ?As i'm going to be doing a lot of pedalling that may be an issue .There are also some Troy Lee's about £25 don't know what they are like .
I only used 661 Kyle Straits over there, unless the bike park then with a those, a back protector and Race Face elbow pads.
i got 661 pads and elbow pads from crc, think was about £40 altogether.
very comfy and i am happy with them when pedalling
