Hey all

I need to replace my pads in my Tektro auriga comp hydraulic disc brake pads,i was wondering if the pads from halford are any good and if not whats the best alternative?

If they're the square shaped ones, rather than round, Shimano pads will fit, as well as all their aftermarket options. I've always found A2Z to be a good option, not heard a single bad word about them, and seem to be as good as OE pads for me.

Aye, it's basically a Shimano ripoff, I can't remember which model of shimano pad it is, possibly old LX. Surprisingly good brakes, anyway.

I use Superstar kevlar pads in all my bikes but it's possible saying so might provoke some sort of forum allergic reaction ๐Ÿ˜‰

they are the same pads used in the deore m525 and 515, using goodridge pads on my deore which have good bite but cant say how long they will last as only just fitted a week ago

Thanks guys,anyone tried the ceramic pads?
Are they worth the extra dough?

I use the superstar ones, got shimano brakes on one bike and tektros on the other so get 4 sets at a time. Bargain.

late reply but im using goodridge pads in my deore brakes and they have great stopping power compaired the the cheap organic ones i got from ebay, they dont seem to wear at all but they also dont slow you down.
