Gutted for Cav. But how close was that! I reckon he still had the edge there too, just grabbed the short straw...again.

Cav needs a 29er, wouldn't have noticed that pot hole then

I know they have previous, but surely ITV could hold off adverts for 30mins?

I've noticed they've been better recently. They seem to be cramming them in at the start....rather than 3ks from the finish ๐Ÿ™„

Just seen the front view replay. Cav's rear wheel must have kicked 3" into the air ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

Yeah, hats off to him for even staying on the bike after that pothole. Maybe he's hitting them all in practice for Yorkshire's roads next year...

Blimey, just got my breath back! Cav let down by his (lack of a) train and the state of French roads... They need to do a proper job of resurfacing that street! ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ™

Fantastic comments from Chris Froome with Ned. Great achievement, great team. Great spectacle - not sure how the podium will compare to last year......

I only turned over to watch the last 10km as the rest is dull. Looks like the end of Cavendish dominated sprints. Not the end of Cav just dont see him winning enough to catch Merckx now

better go for another ad break.

I've decamped to BES. ITV4 are a joke. Cutting to adverts during the presentations of the 100th TdF....mental.

...at least they never just cut straight to River Monsters at 9pm, I guess.

Two minute show for Chris Froome. Bet he wishes he'd dropped some acid.

So what's the point of the light show on the Arc De Triomphe?

I liked the light show you miserable gits.

Classy speech by Froome, especially the bit about standing the test of time.

Is there anywhere you can look at who's racing or are the teams not announced yet?
