Will Evans leave Contador for minced beef on the descent?
Evans covering well so far.
i wouldn't like to think about a balls out descent in that sort of weather
Evans! Come on!
Whats Contador like on wet descents?
this is it! Alberto finally going for it, surprise attack!
Will Evans stick to him on the REALLY long climbs though???
I think we are about to find out. It's close enough to all change I reckon. Or to close up again...
Could be carnage I fear but damned exciting!
Evans is opening up a wee gap.
this is swashbuckling ๐
Andy Schleck is doing 50p cornering.
EBH fell asleep there.
EBH waited a bit too long. Great win by Thor though, well deserved. Avg speed of stage 46 kph!! ๐ฏ
Ive got a hardon!
He was caught napping.. However if I may draw your attention to the first few posts of this thread you will see that I correctly called this stage ๐
Look behind you Cadel!
Schlecks muppet show once again. Thank god 'little Tommy' has finally been dropped.
now we see how stupid the games in the mountains last week were. Take time when you can and don't spend your time looking over your shoulder
I've missed most of it, been in meetings all afternoon, only just caught the finish. Will watch the highlights later, looks like a good stage, bunch blown to pieces on that one climb!
Will be interesting to see the GC after this.
Cav just coming in now, he'll keep green.
Nice to see a bit of racing between Evans and Alberto.
Hahah
Cav was only a min behind ASchleck
What's Cav doing finishing pretty well up on a mountain stage?
damn should gone to the bookies ๐
Yuk ... I hate pickled Fish
Hehe, classic ๐
Cant wait to get home to watch this!
1. VOECKLER Thomas
2. EVANS Cadel + 01' 45"
3. SCHLECK Frank + 01' 49"
4. SCHLECK Andy + 03' 03"
5. SANCHEZ Samuel + 03' 26"
6. CONTADOR Alberto + 03' 42"
7. BASSO Ivan + 03' 49"
8. CUNEGO Damiano + 04' 01"
9. DANIELSON Tom + 06' 04"
Gonna have to watch the highlights tonight - sounds an amazing stage.
Anyone but Contador though please!
I was hoping for a GC win for Andy S (after last year's shenanigans). It doesn't appear that'll be happening now.
Screw the tour - anyone see that ribbon of singletrack they just showed?
Yeah, looked nice SBZ.
Cadel has been my favourite to win the tour since Wiggins bombed out. He's yet to disappoint me either. My sadistic side is really looking forward to seeing Voeckler cracking spectacularly into a thousand broken pieces in a mixture of salty tears on the mountains. I just know it's going to happen, and I think he must too.
Anyone but Contador though please
I like Contador and Sanchez but can't see either of them winning, the Schlecks are crap and don't deserve it, and Evans is too ugly.
Voeckler FTW even if he is French!
Yeah, for performances so far Voeckler deserves it.
I wonder how Wiggy would have got on?
I thought Basso was a dark horse, not any more! Big loser today!
Whiney mandy shlek oh we shouldn't have wet downhills its too dangerous sorry I thought this was a bike race...
I wonder how Wiggy would have got on?
He's injured not dead! Jeez!
It's a shame Wiggins isn't around any more really. He was such a good rider.
It was an excellent stage. Nice win for Thor and a good effort by Evans. I've been waiting for Contador to get out the saddle and do something special - and today did the trick ๐
Not sure what happened to the Shrek tag-team - it wasn't a real mountain stage afterall?
I'm off every afternoon for the rest of the week - I hope the heads of state keep digging into their suitcases of courage and keep it going now . . . .
oh and RIP BW ๐
Who?
Does anyone know how Cav managed to finish so well? Did his team carry him up the hill again and he out-descended them?
today was a "relatively" easy stage so not to surprised to see Cav up there. Be more interested about the next three days.
waa waaa its not fair
(A schleck earlier)
