Will Evans leave Contador for minced beef on the descent?

I think we are about to find out. It's close enough to all change I reckon. Or to close up again...

Andy Schleck is doing 50p cornering.

EBH fell asleep there.

now we see how stupid the games in the mountains last week were. Take time when you can and don't spend your time looking over your shoulder

I've missed most of it, been in meetings all afternoon, only just caught the finish. Will watch the highlights later, looks like a good stage, bunch blown to pieces on that one climb!

Will be interesting to see the GC after this.

Cav just coming in now, he'll keep green.

I was hoping for a GC win for Andy S (after last year's shenanigans). It doesn't appear that'll be happening now.

Yeah, looked nice SBZ.

Cadel has been my favourite to win the tour since Wiggins bombed out. He's yet to disappoint me either. My sadistic side is really looking forward to seeing Voeckler cracking spectacularly into a thousand broken pieces in a mixture of salty tears on the mountains. I just know it's going to happen, and I think he must too.

I like Contador and Sanchez but can't see either of them winning, the Schlecks are crap and don't deserve it, and Evans is too ugly.

Voeckler FTW even if he is French!

Yeah, for performances so far Voeckler deserves it.

I wonder how Wiggy would have got on?

His wife might disagree, and she's not bad.

It's a shame Wiggins isn't around any more really. He was such a good rider.

It was an excellent stage. Nice win for Thor and a good effort by Evans. I've been waiting for Contador to get out the saddle and do something special - and today did the trick ๐Ÿ™‚

Not sure what happened to the Shrek tag-team - it wasn't a real mountain stage afterall?

I'm off every afternoon for the rest of the week - I hope the heads of state keep digging into their suitcases of courage and keep it going now . . . .

oh and RIP BW ๐Ÿ™

Does anyone know how Cav managed to finish so well? Did his team carry him up the hill again and he out-descended them?

today was a "relatively" easy stage so not to surprised to see Cav up there. Be more interested about the next three days.
