[stern voice of jealousy] Now more importantly have you had your breakfast yet? Are your out of your PJ's ? This is not hwat made Britain great
EDIT: ๐ oh yes comment on the race. After yesterday he will either win, break a bike or maim an opponent who blocks him
Hmm, Cav had to win that one didn't he? ๐
As a team Omega Pharma Lotto have got to be topping the suspicion list of most likely to be drugged up.
Why?
omega=Great
Pharma= Drug [ company]
Lotto= lottery
So great drugs lottery
Obvious when you think about it ๐
Omega Pharma
I thought it was a company that grew watches ๐
Cav FTW. Simples. ๐
the greens up for grabs at the finish then. What price Cav in green come 5pm?
Failing that, if he gets good points its going to be a shootout in Paris! (unless Gilbert goes on a mental point getting ride like Thor did in 2009)
They are saying that Gilbert will hoover up loads of intermediates in the mts because he can climb much better than Cav.
In a completely unbiased way, it would be a shame if the revisions to the points competition didn't result in a proper sprinter winning it.
And yes, Cav in green on the podium ce soir
Why? The green jersey's not meant to be a sprinter's jersey.
but it should be
why? because as a team they are far exceeding what they are expected be capable of. unless they blow up next week and fall out the back door.
he may be a good climber, but the points are reduced in mountain stages for both intermiadiate sprints and finishes, so unless he's in the top 10, which is very very unlikely he'll be getting a couple of points here and there. and if he does that he'll be exhausted for the final sprint in Paris, which has 35 points attached to it.
Has anyone mentioned these T-Shirts yet?

molgrips - MemberWhy? The green jersey's not meant to be a sprinter's jersey.
I'd read that the green jersey is actually officially for most consistent finisher, so I don't get why there's intermediate points anyway... anyone the wiser?
The hoogerland T-shirt is ace.
The hoogerland T-shirt is ace.

God damn that HTC train is an impressive sight when it's in full flow.
They're losing men quickly though.
But will it hold together for the finish?
Yeah, the breakaway are holding out for longer than I thought. Going to be a tight finish - particularly in the wet.
Man I love the tour.. and havign a job where I can have it on live next to my main pc ๐
Big crash in the final stages i reckon.
3km to go, one of the break left
HTC give up leading and tuck in behind cervelo
Cav gets it from Griepel.
Got to say it: he's really incredibly good.
Cav gets the green jersey?
Fair play.. THEY are incredibly good.

It is a rarity to cheer on a fellow Manxman. Him and renshaw really are an excellent finishing duo, well the whole train! ๐

What's the deal with the number of kisses?
Most seem to do three Cav always goes for four. Voeckler only does two.
On the green jumper presentation he only bothered with two.
