It's not really a hollow victory it's no different to any other stage of TdF! Cav was brought down by a member of his own team.
Yes a farce ref the bus but WTF was it doing along there and I did think why can't they just reverse it!

Blimey. Absolute chaos. Don't think Cav went down but certainly got caught up in it.

well , maybe, but instead of beating the best sprinters in the world he beat some domestiques who just happened to to avoid the crash too, you have to have luck though i guess so it's still worth celebrating

Hopefully after winning the opening stage to the tour and getting the yellow jersey he might be able to tough it out and force a smile.

Wingy dingy I think you'll find.

That boat doesn't match the urban dictionary definition.

Millar 4th , good man. Certainly not a boring opening stage .

Froome , Stannard and Thomas all taking sore ones as well as Greipel.

Greipel caused that crash by the looks of it.

Excellent start! I know it doesn't suit the riders but I like a chaotic day when all that planning is out the widow! Roll on tomorrow!

Junkyard - lazarus
Cavendish to be in yellow at the end of the day? Would be great to see. Although I think Sagan would look pretty damn good in yellow too...

Hedged my bets and put both in my team....wonder which one RM went for
#studentmancrush :wink
Tours are like buses you wait a century for one win then two come along together.

God I hope Contador does not win [ and schleck and cuddles are rubbish bit that is more for my team tbh

Junkyard: Tours are like buses eh? 8)
