Aero. for the sprinters and their leadout men, who'll be doing well over 40mph on most sprint finishes, it will make them fractionally faster which can count when many sprints are won/lost by under a foot.

Although with all of them having the same gains, any advantage is lost. It would be just the same if they were all made to ride 16" childs bmx bikes and wear inflatable sumo suits......only more funny.. 🙂
