If any of you folks are up in the Aberdeenshire area and have kids who are just getting into biking, I can recommend Tarland Trails as a nice little taster for the little ones.

Nice short and gentle climb to the top of the 3 trails down so not overly taxing for little ones.

I quite enjoyed the red route as the short climb meant freshness for every (short) down.

Glad you enjoyed the trails.

Trails were made to be a great place for all ages to develop their skills.

Back again soon?

Yes we went over there a couple of weeks ago (from the Aviemore area) They are great fun. I had kids age 4, 8 and 16 and they all had fun. Most fun I've had on a pumptrack ever ๐Ÿ™‚

We combined it with a trip to the Pitfichie Downhill for the older 2 so everyone was very happy ๐Ÿ˜€

Will have to check this out some time soon, parents live a few miles away, maybe a little early for my 6 month old lad though!
