Hi, can anyone tell me what size tap I need to clean up the threads in my mech hanger after an inadequately masked powdercoat job?

bodge a rear axle if you dont have a tap handy

M. 10 x1 tap or paint area with paint stripper then wash it off
Chain ring bolts might be 10 x 1 but check that first!
