Can anyone recommend me a good tapered headset what doesn't cost a lot if money. I am building up a 29er scandal and have run out of money or spent a fortune on it already I should say!!! Like the hope hope ones but what are the cheaper alternatives???? Cheers.

Still £60 and up to now I've not got that much confidence in on one products.

+1 for superstar. Not the best sealing but lasted 2 years so far with minimal maintenance and lots of mud and hosing down. Decent stainless bearings so just pack between the crown race and bearing with waterproof grease.

Oh and replacement bearings and crown races are cheap and easily to get hold of.
