I've been offered a Phillips tandem, it's in pretty good condition except the bolts holding the passenger bars on have been over tightened, rounded and consequentally pinched the drivers seatpost tight, do you think it's worth getting? easy repair? What do they resale for typically should no one wish to join me on it! 😀

A seatpost will not be too expensive, I don't know much about Philips tandems, but we get good use of our Dawes one.

It's one of them, looks like the rrp was about £400.00 hmm I wonder if it's worth the effort?

a seatpost is a seatpost, nothing special about tandem seatposts.
