We looked at the nicolai tandems about 5 years ago, but the frames are stunningly expensive. We chose a more pragmatic route buying Steve and Brenda Mead's old tandem frame and building that up instead.

i wonder how many off them they actually shift. you gotta really love tandem riding to buy that.
