I currently ride a 2012 giant anthem x29er 1 and a 2013 trance x29er0.
I'm having thoughts around changing the Anthem for something more akin to the Trance's awesome ability.
This year it's all 650b from Giant at the top end (yawn) and I'm not going down that route.(6feet 2 and happy with 29ers)
I'm thinking a out the Santa Cruz tallboy LT so:
In order to gain some weight benefit and still have a bike that can handle IOM terrain should I buy the frame and get my LBS to source the rest or should I go with SC's specs?
I'd like a sub 25 pound bike all in a d I'd like to keep cost at around 5k
Tall order for Friday morning but I know there will be plenty of UK SC riders who have gone before me on this one.
I'd appreciate any advice on build.... Forks/Wheels etc ( brakes will be XT)
