Hello,
I've got a new bike that basically doesn't have enough space to clamp around the frame in my workstand meaning that I have to clamp around the seat post instead.
Due to the frame/seat post arrangement, this means that my bike is now hanging about 6 inches lower than it used to be on the stand which makes it a pain in the back to work on the cranks/gears/brakes/etc.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a bike stand that would allow for the bike to sit higher up? I currently use a Minoura bike stand that looks pretty similar to everything else height wise. I had a peek at a Park PCS-4 in my LBS that looks well tall but that runs to 250 sheets, which is pretty expensive for a stand.
Any ideas about something a bit cheaper (other than a wall mount as I don't have space in my garage for that)?
Cheers.
My Feedback stand goes pretty high and is very stable - unlike the Minoura.
Cheers for the suggestions.
