I get a really hot head and want a helmet that cools very well. I also have a full enduro (hate to use that word) season coming so worry about protection.
But how often does the extended rear coverage of an AM/enduro helmet help? All crashes I've had have hit the front or top of the helmet - not saying it doesn't happen but it must be very rare.
So should I go for an XC style helmet which has more cooling?
What about that Scott Lin with MIPS?
Will obviously be checking fit before buying.

No idea on the science or facts but my guess is the more "Enduro" styling is just styling and doesn't really add much. I still have an XC helmet and an Enduro helmet though. Fashion innit?
