been looking at various shorts on CRC but it isn't always clear whether or not they are waterproof.
need something for primarily summer that is waterproof, but not too heavy. 3/4 lenght would be good too.
Altura, Endura, Gore or a pair of armny surplus cutdowns...?

I have just got some of the altura attacks from Merlin-love them. a really good piece of kit that has really enhanced my enjoyment of riding in the wet! not sure they would be great in summer tho....
I wouldn't want to wear waterproof shorts all summer- they will be far too warm and not waterproof at the end of the season.

fanks purist.... i was looking for those on CRC but couldn't find them.
i usually ride with a pair of baggy trunks over lycra in summer, but seeing as i'll be riding quite a few multi-day tours i though it'd be nice to have something half-decent.
