Looking to by a Charge Cooker as soon as the the 2013 model hits the shops and would like to know what ownwers think of theirs. Does it have that steel framed zing and whats the Sram 2x10 gears like for climbing steep hills. Currently using a 3x9 groupset and not being the strongest climber in the world im abit worried ill stuggle on the hills without the lowest gear ratios.

Cheers ๐Ÿ˜•

You'll be fine with the 2x10, i run 39x26 currently with a 11-36 up back and i'm not a climber by any scale.

Saw one of those outside the pub the other Sunday, looked cool.

How big are your hills? I managed the lakes with 1x9 (32:11-36) with no issues and i'm a no talent, no fitnessi fatty. ditch the granny unless u live in a really mountainous area

Its not so much the size of the hills (i live in Hampshire) more the lazyness of the rider lol. Mountain biking is just one of the sports i do, i do alot of hikeing and backpacking as well so i dont really build up the stamina for riding. Might have a go at bikepacking at some point, which will mean carrying more weight.

You'll be alright for Hampshire with that gearing, no probs.
