Its the right size and seems an excellent price, why should/shouldn't I buy it.

Okay... Go!

Looks rubbish on paper and I didn't read any glowing reports of it in the mtb 'press'*, so I'd be inclined to either avoid it or buy it and sell the frame and buy something that had a half decent design,

Marzocchi 55-TST2

You will have to buy a backup set of forks ontop of the grand price for those times when your forks are being repaired "2-3 weeks".

So in reality it'll cost you £1300-£1400. Meta5- theres a thread on here with one on for £1300.

magic link does what is says on the tin
but heavy so looses its uphill plus points
sweet on the descents but flexy so looses out on dh
refinements could make this a quality ride

note: this is based on reviews ive read and a shopfloor test ride/bounce i had
disclosure: ive owned 5 konas still have 3

Is this after you've had a ruined ride? 😉

As the very happy owner of a Coiler Dee lux i can say just TRY and break it, planted ride robust if not complex suss system, lifetime frame warranty. bargain, bite their hand off and enjoy.
