i got a set of fox 36 RC2 fit with a talas, as i really done use it due to the bottom bracket being so low on my frtizz i just wondered is it worth being removed for a float?

If you don't use the Talas, yes it will make the forks a bit more sensitive on small bumps and feel nicer overall too.
