Tag-along on a dropper..

Anyone use a tag-along (Wee-Ride to be more specific) on a dropper post?

I'm going to stick some rubber into the clamp to hopefully alleviate some for the clamping force.

Or am I heading for a ruined dropper?

TIA.

I went with a sacrificial aluminium post, wouldn't risk it myself.

As above, also (due to being an old wee ride and narrow clamp), I used a thinner post and 10mm syntace(??) seatpost shim.

I'm hoping to avoid the hassle of swapping posts if possible 😐

Seems like a good way to kill a dropper.

That's what I'm trying to find out, if anyone has been brave enough to actually find out.

Another option is a Follow Me tandem tagalong and keep the dropper.

Having deliberated both. And having seen some other local parents with follow me tandems.... They are good and serve a purpose for assisted rides but not compatible to an actual tag along.

Shoot me but I have an adams tag along on a carbon seat post........ And I've had a cargo trailer off the back of the adams.
