Thinking of getting a Tacx Neo as prices are dropping, Does anyone know if it works ok with long cage mechs? Think i read something somewhere about maybe needing an extra spacer.

anything longer than a short cage road and it will absolutely catch in the larger gears on the rear mech.
However, if you are using ERG mode it changes all the resistance anyway so you don't need to change gear and can leave it in a middle gear that doesn't catch.
spacer is nothing to do with the mech. it is for 130/135mm hub spacing
