Dull thread, and didn't want to detract the Zwift thread.
I did the FTP test but was expecting a number to ping on screen at the end telling me my FTP, but it didn't.
The activity is saved but a just see charts of my power, cadence and speed over time and averages (including the warm up/down sections). That would be a huge waste of the sweat puddle and almost spewing.
How do I glean my FTP from the chart for the 20 minute FTP period?
Take the average of the 20mins and multiply by 0.95
It will be in your profile in the app. I had the same question and found the answe online.
Edit: Saying that I can't find it on my Iphone app. It's definitely on my iPad app though.
2nd Edit: it's definitely online on the tacx cloud website. Under profile.
2 ways
1) If it's exported to strava and you have a premium sub go to the ride and analysis tab. Highlight the 20 mins and take the number and times it by .95.
2) If you did it on Zwift: When you open Zwift and are in a ride, go to the menu and it displays this screen: [url=
Then take the number under the 20 mins "Your Best" tab and times by .95.
If you're using it to work out your Zwift Race category (W/KG) you take your FTP and divide by your weight in KG.
The FTP value in the profile is a default, there before I did the test. And there is no FTP value on tacx cloud.
Impossible to take an average of the 20 mins - there is no raw data, just charts
edit: I wonder if the issue is the linking of my account, the app and the cloud website
1) If it's exported to strava and you have a premium sub go to the ride and analysis tab. Highlight the 20 mins and take the number and times it by .95.
This, but you don't need a premium sub, you can do it on a standard account
it is not automatically exporting to strava despite being told to. Again, suspect the link to my account is wonky
You have two options there, download .TCX (and then import into strava) or export directly to strava. Its the button with 3 Dots on it.
the workout isn't appearing on Cloud despite it being on the App
