What are the signs of this?

Usually a squelching / sucking noise from the shock, possibly reduced damping performance as well.
Why? What is yours doing?

Squelching/sucking noise. Feels gritty for the first few mm of the stroke and compression damping doesn't seem as effective. Already spoken to Mojo (its under warranty) but want to double check before I sent it off.

Loco on here is your best bet for a professional opinion, but that sounds like it is cavitating.
