Be prepared to cry when you hear and feel the noises that your drivetrain will be making! Only trouble with the sandy stuff! Other than that have fun and enjoy!

It's very gritty/sandy. Doesn't tend to clog up at all but it will destroy your drivetrain and brake pads. At least it all washes off easily.

Simple. Stick to the made up stuff.

Particularly when riding the unarmoured trails, DON'T ride round the outside of the puddles. You're going to get wet and muddy anyway, a bit more won't hurt, but if you keep to the edges and around the puddles then pretty soon that snaky sinuous singletrack will be a 3 meter wide brown runway.

Er - don't. Let it dry out. Ride the road / turbo trainer.
