After a couple of years layoff i've started swimming again. Three trips to the pool and my toes are a sore itchy mess. There must be some swimmers here, how do you control the athletes foot? I used to use pool sandals and leave them at the side, they helped but didn't stop it and the pools i'm using now you can't do that anyway.

dry them properly
use an antifungal when it flares up
