my mate has buckled his front wheel and someone has offered him a set of halo wheels till he gets new ones.his bike is a boardman with a 10 speed cassette.will this swap over from his old wheel to the new wheel or will it cause problems??he's already been in the wars with a set of brand new wheels that were 20mm maxle that an LBS suggested he buy and put convertor kit to make 9mm,they even attempted to file down his caliper because the wheels were not fitting and his brakes were totally out of allignment.
cheers

Should be fine, providing it has the right axle.

Just swap over the brake rotor.

Filing a brake calliper doesn't sound right - although I have had to file down brake adapters before.

aye it sounds a bit amateurish to me,he pointed out the hub looked to big for the forks and it wouldnt even let the wheel run freely, thinks its a case of money back and go else where,i mentioned the superstar wheels or fulcrum ones to him.
