I’m looking to swap out some shimano hydraulic callipers. Will I need to cut the hose short and re-fit a new ferril and olive or can I re-use the one that’s already there?

Ta.

Officially you should replace the olive. In reality, if you're careful you can reuse them

Do you need to cut the hose? Just unbolt and bolt it onto the new caliper

No, no need to shorten the hose, just replacing the calipers so ideally i’d Just unbolt and replace. I’ll give it a go. Thanks.
