Are Swampthings, wire bead and single ply casing easy to ghetto or should I just run tubes until it dries out?

Mine have been great for the past two months using a DTswiss kit rather than ghetto, but i expect that to make bugger all difference.
Go for it what's the worst that can happen?

Got mine to work ok on Mavic UST rims + sealant.
