Someone tell me where to ride this Sunday in SW England. I need inspiration to stave off a trip to a trail centre.

How about Haldon forest, I'm reliabably informed that up there is the best descent in the SW ๐Ÿ˜‰ which has got to be better than some manicured trail centre ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

Le Singe on a roadbike, i've never seen a waxed chimp before ๐Ÿ˜‰

I'm about so let me know if inspiration hits you.

Del - are you in Norway still or about for a beer later?

You don't wax monkeys, you pluck 'em.

I'll def be riding somewhere Sunday but I really don't know where, poss Q's, poss Burrator, poss E D-mo ?.

Knottie, you might want to avoid Princetown on Saturday. Check the Met Office.

Has anyone been up over the moor during the last few days?
We've had a lot of rain this week over my side, and as TM suggests, more to come.
Just returned from torquay and it's getting darker by the minute - rain cloud not night time!
any ideas how it's looking underfoot?

Squelchy on the plateau would be my guess. Steep bits or rocky bits only this weekend. All though in fairness, they're the bestest bits anyway 8)

There's a new permitted b/w up from Stepp's br., only a 6mile loop, but could be part of the Drogo loop. It's stony track so should hold up under this current wet bit.
TM/Knottie - have you found it yet?

The permitted BW has been around for a year or so and like most places, the best tech is off piste there.

TM,
If the worst comes to the worst, there is always your future commute with the other trails added in?

Sorted your lunchtime Net connection then?

True Jim, but hopefully we'll be able to do something a little more epic.

Lunch/net - condition green.

Next job: Find the new bosses porn folder and hack the payroll ๐Ÿ˜‰

Yeah, maybe a little more hardcore sub max for Sunday. How about a whole day in the Cleave? Everything including back to front, ups as downs, never leaving the valley?

Shinythings:
Ahhh.... haven't been around there for about that time!
I have noticed a few tyre marks, but not many, so wasn't sure how many people had discovered it, I only happened on it by accident where it comes out on the Gurt Big Hill at clifford.
cheers

As Si is too wimpy to go up BTF I wonder if going via the Foxworthy road would work.
If you include the singleybob trail from the bridge in reverse and Plague I reckon you would have 5-6 quality downs.

Would this be a good time to try my gimp suit? 'cos it's quite wet out there.

Workshop day today, so gonna fit a Sponson(?) to the 46 in between doing a Cycleguy job ๐Ÿ™‚

As it's been pissing down for the last few days (although forecast is for dry from lunchtime today), how about Woodbury or East Exmoor/Quantocks?

There's a link to the Cycleguy website in the Denbury Diary this month. Hopefully, that might send a little business your way Jim 8)

SM, Q's might be a Sunday option, don't really like Exmoor and I've ridden Woodbury to death over the years ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

TM, That's nice of them ๐Ÿ˜€ (Note to self for 10th time; must correct the designers crap spelling)

Woodbury's out 'cos I only have 10 sets of pads spare! (it's gritty).
