Anyone done the full route 7, 602 miles. I eyeing this up for end feb, over 6 days. Will be riding a 29er hardtail with mud tyres on.

100mi/day with mud tyres on - rather you than me!
Ice spikes may also be more appropriate north of Pitlochry in Feb as I would hazard a guess the cycle path isn't gritted.

You'll not be wanting mud tyres. The route is mainly on tarmac and well surfaced path. I'd be choosing a Schwalbe Marathon or similar - maybe 32mm.

I recently rode NCN78 - including the rough track alongside Loch Lochy - on 28mm Marathons and that was fine. That was 237 miles.
