Does anyone know what wt suspension fluid I should be using when it comesto servicing my float RL 32.
The manual is a bit confusing it says 7wt and 10 wt in the same drop down box intheowners manual.
Help please!
?
use 7, if there is not enough damping replace it with 10.
or vice versa
7 for most things, but the float fluid (not sure what the weight is, probably about 90) for the foam rings at the top.
Hi mate, from what i can see your fork takes 10 wt as its the 150mm model, just found something on fox site.
The volumes are 165ml in damper side and 30ml in spring side.
There is no mention of a 150mm float rl in 2009 but there is one under 2010, im guessing yours is the same as that.

Try the Fox Service Center pages here. If you go to Service and then oil volumes, you'll get a rather comprehensive table telling you what and how much.
If it helps I'm a big fella and with 7.5wt in my Vanillas (07) were a bit lively. With 10wt (Silkolene fully synth motor cycle fork oil) much much more controlled.
wicked i'm a bit heavier set also, 10wt it is then.
cheers
