does anyone know anywhere that has them in stock??been looking for last few hours but everywhere is sold out. ss is done and semi rideable but under standing up forces axle is pulled forward on drive side and cheap ones are not up to the job.

help is greatly appreciated.

They are lovely but a chunk of weight for what they are. You can get a lighter cheaper tugnut off ebay for a fiver. I like the Spot brand rocket ship ones best though 8)

There's not a lot of alternatives for use with QR wheels.

However you can use a presta valve stem nut as a spacer in a cheap eBay bolt-up tensioner to adapt it for use with a QR.

I think the surly ones are great though, and even though they weigh a ton, I use two on my superlight 29er SS because they keep the back end absolutely bang on. I found that with just one a good honk would pull the NDS forward even with the QR done up banjo-string tight.

Stoner - interesting that you use two and am wondering if I should try that, certainly on the instructions it states that only one is necessary.
