Is there anywhere that sells them? I'm wondering if it's any better than a 135mm fork, probably not, but I do have a 29er front wheel already, hmmm.
It limits the size of rim you can get in there if you're using disks - unless you remove the calliper when removing the wheel. Large Marge at max?
Space is tight with the 100mm OLD fork. Probably the max size rim you'd want would be around 65mm. The problem lies with wheel removal or insertion because the disk calliper gets in the way. (If you don't mind removing the calliper to do this then there's no problem.)
It was very tight getting the tyre past the calliper on mine with a 40mm rim (but not too difficult), so when I changed to a 80mm rim I got a 135mm fork and there's no hassle.
Surly now make a symmetrical 135mm fork as well as the 135mm offset and the 100mm symmetrical.
Your local bike shop should be able to get them or Billys
Thanks!
