Not that i know anything about this sale, so apologies if i'm touting the term "scam" around unnecessarily, but a little browse on my local Gumtree shows this little beast...£600 eh?

If it's real i'd be tempted to buy it and flog it for at least twice the price! (although, i've scuppered that now by posting it up here i guess)

yes... it's a scam. you'll email the chap an enquiry, he'll come back with a story along the lines of "I'm not based near you, please pay via this 'escrow service' which will hold the funds till you get delivery, so you're [i]totally[/i] safe and protected... blah blah blah'...
You see them all the time on Gumtree, just report the listing 👿
