On the 3rd of April this year, Darren Moore, father of two was left paralysed after falling in Squirrell Scamper Pit. He has spent the last 3 months at Stoke Mandeville hospital (specialist spinal injuries unit) london, and is still facing many more months of treatment. His friends have organised a fund raising ride, with the aim of buying him a posh wheelchair.

The ride will be a bimble around both the red and black runs at Thetford. The start will be from the High Lodge between 9:30am and 10.00am, anyone wishing to take advantage of free parking are welcome to use the carpark near brandon fire station, from where a group led by Sean Byrne a local fire fighter will depart for the high lodge at 09.15am.

At this moment, I don't have any more details, but if you like me are not able to be there, but would like to donate I'm advised you can leave your donation at the High Lodge shop marked for the attention of Dave Kingsnorth Community Ranger.
