Building a bike from shed bits and planned on using this ring as I hate setting up front mechs.
When I change up to the big cog at the rear the chain falls off the inside of the front ring. It's not a mental 40 tooth or anything just normal. Haven't shortened chain ,so there is probably plenty of slack.
Any ideas?
It's not the end of the world just means me putting a triple on the front.
Remove a driveside BB spacer? Is it a triple crank with the SS N/W on the inside?
Wide teeth might be just wide enough to catch the plate on the chain.
Which side of the spider have you fitted the chain ring? If its a triple chainset it needs to be on the inside
My fault I fitted it so I could see all the logos. Obviously that's where the big ring goes. Put it where middle should be and it's fine.
