I like the look of these but which do I want the (nicer looking IMO) 'CNC Nano Tech Flats' or the 'CNC Nano Thru Pin Pedals' with the added bonus of thru pins, but are uglier and heavier.

They'll mostly be used for the BMX track so no rocks to bash pins off.

Got the thru-pin ones here. Superb so far.

Didn't go for the other type as my experience with Shimano DX pedals is that the pins are too small in diameter and get bent way too easily and then can't be removed.

At least with the thru pins you can still get them out by grinding off the pin.

FWIW they're the same as Kona Wah-Wah but alot cheaper.

I've got Wah Wahs. No complaints, no problems. I'd buy them again. They're thru-pin versions. I've not needed to use this but I prefer the idea of them to grub screw pins.

So the through pin ones is what I'll get - I was looking a the Wah Wah's, but I need new pads too so was going to get pedals and kevlar pads at the same time.

I bought exactly that - kevlar pads and through pin pedals from Superstar - a few weeks ago and they're both pretty ace so far.

got the NON through pins ones.

no problems with them here, nice and low profile, plus grippy.
