I need a 32 tooth chainring and tensioner to get out on SS for first time. Eyeing up these from Superstar (contentious amongst some) and wondered if any good. Looking at the £11 ring - will it be made of cheese or similar ie go after a few muddy rides? Any suggestions?

Cheers

well, it's pinned & ramped so a bit more likely to shed the chain

(I bought a fsa one from charliethebikemonger the other day - SS/DH so no ramps etc but was about 18 quid I think, and 34t but I'm sure he does 32 as well)

as far as im aware the superstar ones have shift pins and ramps, might be better off with one without these for SS use.

salsa ones are good and would be my recomendation but any ring would work.

for durability steel might be your best option

think on-one used to do some?
