I have been watching out for some Bars for a while now in the classifieds but always seemed to miss the parts I was after due to not being online at the right time 🙁 so after seeing a post on here about cheap carbon bars I took a look and ended up buying other stuff as well it was that cheap 😀 I am not in the habit of promoting shops but they have some fantastic bargains which I thought I would share with the STW massive.

What are you building up now, Mark? A lad at work used to rave about jenson but I wondered about the import duty etc.
ive never had to pay import duty on stuff from jenson
usually i buy under £50 worth of stuff is that why
with import duty id still be making killer savings compared to uk prices even with the tumbling pound!

What are you building up now, Mark?
I have managed to get a Carbon Stumpjumper S Works frame, so am spoiling myself a little with new or mint parts 😀
Not in any rush to build it up as I wont be using it until summer. I will be stripping my Liquid 55 down once I have finished using it, then use the parts to build my lad a better bike (Stumpjumper comp).
has anybody been stung with VAT and import duty on stuff over £50? from jensonUSA
I've always had a bill from fedex - tenner for handling, plus VAT I think
Does it not depend what's written on the customs label? (and it states on their site that they put the actual value on)
I thought the threshold was only about £20 for import tax
