[Closed] Super glue to fix punctures???

Any reason why I can't use super glue to stick the patches down? All the rubber solution has gone off and I have a load of of half used punture repair kits. just wondered if any one had tried?

I used to use it a lot . Never had a problem other than sticking my fingers to the tube a few times

It's used for tubeless repairs so should be OK. Halfords sell rubber cement in big(er than the tiny ones you get in kits) tubes.

I've done it a fair few times. Dosnt seem to last forever though.
Even used duct tape, although the tyre had a saggy bit where the tube wouldnt expand anymore. Got me home though 😀
