If I wanted my bike frame to be superly, lovingly coated by the best company available who would I use?
In my experience Argos racing cycles are very good; not cheap but very good.
Bettablast did an awesome job of powdercoating my Fatty & my daughters Islabikes Cnoc
I would 2nd ARGOS Racing, Its the Only company i'd use. Failing that i'd just buy New. Thats how fussy i am.
I had an old Freddy Grubb Track frame done by them years ago. its still like new to this very day,
I've not used them but Argos is very highly recommended by folk I know and after seeing two finished frames I'd agree.
Triple S in Bingley are worth a look.
There are some top painters out there (I work for bespoked show, so know quite a few of them). Fat creations, Doktor Bobby, Death spray if you want show finish and design work. Argos are good also.
Roukes seem to be lovely looking at their pics on instagram
Bettablast coated a frame for me and it was great. Not as good as a painted finish, but more durable.
Fatcreations seem to do a lot of spangly expensive jobs. The paintjob on my new to me swarf spline is certainly very pretty.
Mercian if you are near Derby.
