Thanks in advance all.
A colleagues son's bike has old Fox fork on his bike which has finally died. However, he has been offered a basically new Raidon 32 air fork for way less than the cost of a fork service.
Having no experience of Suntour Raidon, are they a decent enough fork for xc duties for a young lad who weighs under 8 stone?
Additionally:
If they need a service, spares generally available?
Currently 100mm travel, can this go to 120mm with some internal changes?
Thanks all!
I have an Epixon on my hack bike, I think the Raidon is pretty similar. It's fine as an affordable fork, pretty basic with adjustable rebound and an air spring.
They are pretty basic to service. I'm not sure about all of them, but some of them can be adjusted internally in 20 mm increments. You'll need to check your specific model to be sure. The service manuals are online, travel adjustment isn't a difficult job.
