I'm gonna be throwing together a Summer Seasons later this week and am looking for a cheap and cheerful headset. At less than £20 a go with some online retailers these seem to fit the bill.

So, anyone used one? Good, bad, indifferent??

I've had one in my enduro for about 9 months now. Still going smoothly despite plenty of soakings. At £18 it'll do even if it only lasts a year. Not a great design really as it was hard to put together, the bearings are a very tigh press fit onto te steerer/in the cups. I had to use a rubber mallet to get the forks in

WARNING WILL ROBINSON.. WARNING WARNING !

Keep clear of those m8. Look at the Sunline website... I think you'll find they no longer promote the parallel action (once fitted never get out) headset.

They are OK ish to fit, but had really tight tolerances so you had to force them on. Then once fitted they were nigh on impossible to remove. Do a search on MTBR.com for more (scary) info.
