Another great day on the Qs. As per usual Gary was suffering from too much booze syndrome(saturday night in the hood arms in Kilve and Plough in Holford) Much colder and wetter than yesterday though. Stert,Somerton and Slaughterhouse as downs today. Great fun until I had a "moment" at silly speed dropping into Slaughterhouse combe .Narrowly missed a head/tree interface but couldnt avoid nuts/saddle impact. Ali fell off too . Anyway we headed for the Plough in Holford for lunch and had a lovely spread of baguettes. So thanks to all who made my weekend so great ,you know who you all are. Comments ?

Top weekend and great foties knottie. Oldfart said he was going to come back from his trip away with a fancy black and gold bike!

And if you're riding in the Qs - the new landlord/lady at the Plough in Holford couldn't have made us more welcome today. We were covered in mud, and they were fine about us going in, and said we could eat our lunch in there too. We sat outside cos we thought we were too muddy, but that's a vast improvement to how I understand it used to be. 2 massive pots of tea for £3 and good food.

Cheers all 🙂

Oh and LOL at the close up of the sweetie..... those fruit jelly sweets from Sainsbury's are the rudest looking sweets in the world! (apart from the ones that are trying to be rude, probably)
