Are sun ringle hubs any good? How do they compare to say, hope or shimano?

Good hubs, I've had three sets of them now. Well made, bearings last well, very loud freehub if you like that sort of thing.
Only issue I have is that they are a bit heavier than pro2's. Given that perfomance is identical and I think pro2's are now cheaper I would go pro2 in future.
Edit: to be more specific, I have had the abbah lawwill hubs, 20mm front, both widths *12 at the back.
