Gents,
Without wanting to start a debate of "gloves v no gloves" or "long fingered v short". What recommendations do you have for long fingered summer mtb gloves?
Thanks in advance.
Carl
Fox Digit gloves. Still going strong after 2 years of saving my palms from being shredded. Really comfortable too and not badly priced (£22ish)
fox digit are good, for sure
For thinner glove, CRC were doing 661 Rajis for a tenner a pair
poc index air.
661 Raji are excellent, feel really light and lastign well too so far (more than a year).
+1 for the pocs, they're expensive but ultra comfy and light, promted me to get a POC lid which is also great. Think I'm becoming a POC fanboy?!
paid £20 for mine. best offer on ebay is great. annoy the seller until you get to the price you want.
Kona Chevron - cheap n cheerful, light & robust
661 Raji's are where its at for't summer
Specialized XC lite, Hirzl Grippr or assos summer full finger.
I used to like fox sidewinders, but they've changed the design and I don't like them any more.
now using troy lee xc 🙂

Only had them a month or so, but loving my Giro Rivet(s). Thin, but seem tough enough, and look ace
Stupid name, mind.
CRC only have black/red in XL left tho (other retailers are available, of course) - suited me perfect, but even XL comes up small.
Also not super cheap at £26.99. But v nice...
Could anyone suggest a pair for downhill? I have £25 to spend but don't know what to buy. I know protection for knuckles and fingers is necessary but each pair have different materials or padding!
661 Raji
661 raji
Troy Lee XC for me. Nothing else is as good.
CF isn't wrong, when my Raji's are in the wash I'm wearing my TL XC's
Fox Attack. Got a pair for free (kinda) was more than happy to pay for another set. Lighter weight than my old TLD XCs and with no stitching at all on the palm (same as Fox Digits)
661 raji
British Summer, then go for Ski's recommendation, else my Troy Lee XC have lasted longer then my 661 digit's did.
currently using some Troy Lee Xc gloves, but never been too happy with any i have tried, the fingers are usually too short, I have slightly long fingers.
Troy Lee Air
Something by Fox. Incline, maybe, if you want minimal? Sidewinder if you want some padding. But try on first, their sizing went demented about 2 years ago.
Are these for next summer???
I'm using some Handyman gloves that someone pointed out on STW months ago. Best I've used and great light protection. Better than all the cycling gloves I've wasted money on over the years.
