Blower the builder that bikes in the peaks Ltd
Jerry builders,
Cowboy builders,
Botch it and scarper,
Sometimes no matter how good a job you do, and how well you try to please the customer, you will be called one of the above, sadly.
Just beat them to it, and best of luck.
Singletrack builders,
Sproket building
Singlespeed builders,
Cammelback builders,
Chain reaction builders,
Enduro building,
Botch it and scarper,
that'll do ๐

You're not going to get an sensible answer from me Marcus but while you're there, would you be able to repoint a wall for me? Its a garden boundary wall at the back of our house, about 6ft high, about 15ft long. Needs some TLC... mortar needs pulling out and redoing.
Any idea of rough cost? ๐
mail me dave.
Quality Erections.
Peakstone?
peakstone aint bad that,
You're welcome ๐ Where abouts in the Peaks are you?
just outside in huddersfield, but love the peaks,so thought about maybe using a name from there or somet.
I always thought "RE:Build" would be catchy. Then you can branch out to re:plaster / re:roof / re:paint. Would be better if your initials were R.E
You're not allowed then. Although technically i'm not in the peaks. I could ride there in 3 mins though.
Roch and Dear Builders Ltd.
Foundations.
hudds is just about in the dark peak,so will do. 8)

where you get that idea from ?
Hope
Remember, you can call your company something like Building Company (No1) Limited, but use a separate trading name "Flash Bob's Erection Services".
But, to make life easier - mainly for the rare occasion you're not paid in cash (nudge, nudge, etc) - Just come up with a name and register it (assuming it's not already taken - check on Companies House).
I like bazza's idea. Sure I've seen a van around Halifax with that on though.
Will mail you Marcus ๐
"set in stone" sounds solid and reliable
Rogue Trader Ltd.
"Three Little Pigs Ltd".
Oh wait, didn't 2 of their houses fall down?

Bricking it.
Urban Space Men
Suburban Space Men
Rural Space Men
(as appropriate)
tbh, for google purposes (if you're going down that route) then what you do and where you do it in a company name is a 'good thing'.
So anything with 'Builders' and a location, really.
How about
Colorado or something native american related
then you can have the cheesy tag line
Youve met the cowboys now meet the indians
Ignore my idea, already an aggregates business ๐
There is a building company back home in wales that has the strap-line "our erection is your protection". Love it, think he's also a part-time gigolo.
hmmm set in stone is not bad..
sambob shame about that as it was no1 on the list..
other than that its MJB Builders ltd, huddersfield. which is boring but alas time is of the esence,as got my mates bird doing all the design etc cheers.
iBuild
iPeak Builders

Marble or Marblow maybe. See what I did there? ๐
Maybe you could have it on your van, and then just have your registered name in small print below it? Because then if I ever saw your van, I could say "that name was my idea." like in the windows 7 adverts.
Rickos - MemberMarble or Marblow maybe. See what I did there?
cheeky one that rickos ๐
set in stone taken
peakstone taken
ibuild taken
mjb taken

Permerect

If you are serious then you really need to sit down and do this properly. I've been in the design industry for over 13 years (branding and corporate ident programmes of SME and multi-nationals) and I've seen (and had to work with) some pretty dismal business names in the past.
Sit down and think about who your target audience are, what are THEY into? What are THEIR tastes? Don't try to be all-things-to-all-people and DO NOT choose based on YOUR tastes alone. Do this properly and betters still, hire a professional -- it really doesn't have to cost the earth (and certainly cheaper than doing it two or three times over because you messed up the first time).
PM me if you want some advice. No charge.
How about Windows 7 (Doors 2, Roof 1)
or my unfavourite cringeworthy one - an estate agent in Bingley was called Roper.
Because it's "THE name in pROPERty", according to his adverts.
