[#1963761]

I have a few days off and want to get away from it all in a tent.
Can anyone suggest a campsite?

I don't want to go north of Brum or west of Bristol. It's just me, so dont need to worry about kids - just want somewhere quiet and perhaps a bit different (woods would be awesome) - a good pub within staggering distance would be a plus.
I'm not planning on taking the bike, but if there is a real reason to locally I might be convinced.

Tom's Field in beautiful Dorset sounds right up your street (or quiet countryside lane!), it's in the Purbecks so you could take your MTB too.

Seatown right on the south coast of devon. Clean and a cracking pub on the sea front, two mins from the tents. Great place.

Camp behind the Daneway in Sapperton, middle of the Cotswolds. Excellent pub, quiet site.
