Anyone recommend a hardtail frame that has a slack head angle that can take rigid forks?
I've got a large Dialled love/hate and its too twitchy for my tastes.
I'm 6ft6 so no jump bikes please.
Well, my suggestion would be an On-One Summer Season, since they are designed to both be slack and take short (4") forks. It's not a very common combination as far as I know.
Some of the identity bikes are 'clydesdale' rated I think.

70mm stem and decent width bars.
Think I'm expecting the same handling as my Heckler on a rigid bike.
A 456 with a 29er rigid fork is going to be pretty slack without upsetting the geo and handling. That would have been my suggestion.
But why would you want the same slack angle on your rigid bike as your heckler?
I was thinking the same about a 29" fork, will give it a try.
Probably a good idea to make sure that the frame was designed for that length (axle to crown) fork. It will also slacken the seat angle which can, in extremes, bugger the weight distribution. Probably can get around it with a bit of saddle sliding though.
